Preface

 I've collected these recipes from as far back as high school... through the years of friendships from elementary school, high school, college, law school, law firms, neighbors, etc.  From blood relatives and from those as close as family and even "ex" family, as if family is ever truly "ex".  There are recipes in here from the very young and the very old.  There is one from my 99-year-old Aunt Sadie, and there are several from those in their 80s.  In my family, there are recipes from four generations.  There are recipes from both men and from women.  There are recipes from lawyers, accountants, financial advisors, health care professionals, teachers, a professional photographer, mortgage broker, legal assistants, homemakers, mothers, fathers, grandmothers, great grandmothers, you get the idea. 

 There are recipes from a half a dozen states and three foreign countries.  Food is a nice fun way of staying connected.  There are restaurant recommendations from around the globe.  For those who have recipes or restaurants in here, please accept my sincere thanks and appreciation.
